Role Overview
Production Labourers perform general duties that vary by department.
The role supports machine operators, wrappers, welders, material handling, housekeeping, and shop operations.
Various shifts and overtime may be required depending on the scope of work.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform general tasks assigned by the Supervisor.
- Handle materials within the shop and outdoors as required.
- Assist machine operators with setup and move materials using overhead hoists and forklifts.
- Operate basic hand tools, powered hand tools, and equipment according to company procedures.
- Assist with loading and unloading pipe deliveries and pickups.
- Stack and unstack pipe according to strict procedures.
- Handle oilfield casing, including operating loaders, overhead cranes, or forklifts when applicable.
- Perform work safely and follow established work procedures.
- Clean and maintain organized shop and work areas.
- Follow health, safety, quality, and company policies and procedures.
- Participate in training and safety meetings.
- Perform other duties as required.
