Role Overview

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Operate wireline cable manufacturing equipment and complete quality inspections and setup checklists.
• Complete documentation and immediately report product quality non-conformances.
• Perform assigned preventive maintenance tasks, including lubrication and cleaning.
• Cross-train across operational areas and report equipment issues to help prevent failures.
• Participate in safety, quality, and efficiency improvement initiatives.
• Apply a Lean Manufacturing mindset focused on reducing waste and delivering quality products at lower cost.
• Maintain housekeeping standards and store tools, materials, and equipment in designated areas.

Skills and Knowledge

• Prior experience in a manufacturing or similar environment.
• Understanding of 5S and Lean Manufacturing principles is preferred.
• Ability to change tasks or direction while maintaining organization.
• Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Forklift or reach truck certification.
• Ability and willingness to lift 45 pounds unassisted.
• Analytical thinking, problem-solving capabilities, and ability to work in a team environment.

Education and Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One or more years of manufacturing experience is preferred.
