Role Overview
SEGULA Technologies is seeking an experienced Production Equipment Maintenance Technician to support the maintenance and reliability of industrial production machinery.
The role is responsible for safe and reliable equipment operation, fault diagnosis, repairs, and downtime reduction.
Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance and repair of industrial production equipment.
- Diagnose mechanical faults and equipment failure causes.
- Carry out routine and preventive maintenance.
- Replace, adjust, and repair mechanical assemblies.
- Maintain drives, pneumatic systems, and auxiliary equipment.
- Support troubleshooting involving hydraulic, electrical, and automation systems.
- Read technical drawings, diagrams, and operating documentation.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and measuring equipment safely.
- Support equipment reliability and minimize production downtime.
- Follow safe maintenance procedures and comply with LOTO and EHS requirements.
- Perform specialized activities only when appropriately qualified or authorized.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Technical diploma or vocational qualification in mechanics, mechatronics, industrial equipment, or a related technical discipline.
- At least 2 years of industrial equipment repair and maintenance experience is preferred.
- Good knowledge of mechanics, drives, and pneumatics.
- Basic understanding of hydraulics, electrical systems, and automation.
- Ability to read technical drawings and diagrams.
- Experience using mechanical, electrical, and measuring tools.
- Knowledge of LOTO and safe industrial maintenance practices.
- Relevant technical certifications may be required depending on the work performed.
