Key responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate all construction and installation activities across the project.
• Manage construction planning, sequencing, site access, site possession, and site readiness.
• Coordinate with subsystem managers, consortium partners, the Engineer, third parties, and external civil contractors.
• Manage construction interfaces and resolve conflicts, site issues, and critical coordination problems.
• Monitor construction progress, consolidate reporting, and participate in coordination and progress meetings.
• Coordinate with quality teams on NCRs, non-conformances, and corrective actions.
• Coordinate with HSE teams to ensure safe construction execution.
• Ensure works meet schedule, quality, HSE, and contractual requirements.
• Provide senior leadership and decision-making during the construction phase.

Minimum requirements

• A university degree in construction, engineering, or a related discipline is required.
• At least 20 years of professional experience leading and managing similar railway systems and construction works projects is required.
• Strong railway system delivery, construction, and system integration experience is required.
• Delivery of at least one high-speed rail project in a similar senior capacity is mandatory.
• More than five years of total high-speed rail experience is mandatory.
• Strong construction leadership, stakeholder management, and multidisciplinary coordination capabilities are required.
• The candidate must be able to manage complex construction interfaces and resolve critical site issues.

Preferred profile

• A master’s degree and/or Chartered Engineer status is preferred.
• International experience delivering large-scale high-speed rail infrastructure projects is strongly preferred.
• Relevant senior roles may include Construction Director, Project Construction Director, Construction Manager for HSR, Senior Construction Manager, Railway Construction Director, or Deputy Construction Director.
