Production Engineer

Develop and manage daily/weekly production schedules for cooling units, components, and assemblies to meet delivery targets.

Coordinate with supply chain and warehouse teams to ensure material availability and minimize line stoppages.

Monitor production output, cycle times, and resource utilization; implement improvements to meet KPIs.

Analyze manufacturing processes for HVAC components like heat exchangers, compressors, condensers, and sheet metal fabrication.

Lead Lean Manufacturing, 5S, and Kaizen initiatives to reduce waste, rework, and downtime.

Design and implement jigs, fixtures, and tooling to improve safety, quality, and throughput.

Oversee setup, calibration, and validation of production equipment including CNC, brazing stations, leak test rigs, vacuum pumps, and charging units.

Collaborate with maintenance to develop preventive maintenance schedules and troubleshoot equipment failures.

Provide technical guidance to production supervisors, technicians, and assembly operators.

Train staff on new processes, safety procedures, and quality requirements.

Liaise with R&D, Design, and Procurement on new product introductions, DFM feedback, and pilot runs.

Maintain production records, efficiency reports, OEE, scrap rates, and yield data.

Prepare technical reports and present performance updates to management.
