Production Associate

Connect Housing Blocks is currently searching for a full-time Production Associate to join their team in Columbus, Ohio.

We are revolutionizing the housing industry, manufacturing multi-story, prefabricated modular apartment housing in Columbus, Ohio, by providing high-quality affordable housing.

Production Associates are responsible for performing manufacturing tasks to build prefabricated component and module assemblies on the production line.

The right candidate will have:

• High School Diploma (or GED or High School Equivalence Certificate) preferred
• No experience required
• Ability to ascend/descend ladders, stairs, scaffolding, ramps, and poles
• Ability to regularly move and push up to 20 pounds, occasionally move or push up to 50 pounds, and rarely move or push 200 pounds or more

• Perform manufacturing of housing units, including quality checks on products and parts
• Review work orders and blueprints to ensure work is performed according to specifications
• Set up and operates machinery such as presses, pinners, hand tools, gluers, drills, etc.
• Rotate through all the tasks required in a particular production process
• Shovel, sweep, and otherwise cleans work areas
• Maintain production equipment and machinery
• Operate machinery and heavy equipment, such as forklifts
