Required Skills and Education
- BS in Electrical/Computer Engineering or equivalent experience
- Demonstrated ability to synthesize system-level knowledge, product fault records, and electronics testing to diagnose complex product and application issues.
- Ability to perform analysis and diagnostics down to an electronic component level (e.g. analog, digital, power, and communication) using various laboratory equipment (e.g. power supplies, multimeters, and oscilloscopes)
- Demonstrated proficiency in methodical problem solving and critical thinking
- Ability to interpret and implement regulatory and requirements specifications
- General understanding of electronics assembly and test processes
- Effective communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
- Ability to effectively multitask / manage personal priorities, and coordinate / organize activities in a team environment.
Preferred Skills and Education
- Familiarity with the assembly and test of high reliability electronic assemblies and their avionics applications
- with at least 3 or more years of relevant experience
- Experience using complex analytical tools and methods (SPC, 6 Sigma, Green/Black Belt, etc.)
- Experience in Reliability Engineering and associated methods, tools, and techniques
- Experience using advanced test and analysis instrumentation (spectrum, bus, and logic analyzers, etc.)
- Experience programming in various software and/or data analytic environments (Basic, UNIX, C++, NI LabVIEW, NI Test Stand, Visual Studio, Python, SQL, etc.)
