Product Solution Engineer
The Product Solution Engineer sits at the intersection of product, engineering, supply chain, and customer success for Honeywell Airports Business.
Work in a cross-functional environment for driving product introductions and lifecycle management to support both the internal sales/delivery teams as well as the customers in a highly collaborative environment.
Responsibilities
- Be an evangelist for the portfolio and will be responsible for planning and execution throughout the product lifecycle as per Honeywell Z21 process.
- Other responsibilities include:
- Documentation & Enablement — Create and management internal knowledge resources to support scalable growth.
- Regulatory Engagement – Working with Internal Regulatory Compliance teams to ensure product certifications and compliance are maintained up to date.
- Competitive Analysis - Collaborate with Marketing to ensure all aspects of 4P marketing mix, analyze market and competitor’s activities and products and prepare proactive action plans.
- Forecast Management - Coordinate with the sales team to monitor sales of respective product lines for each market and work to accelerate opportunities. Provides information for management by preparing short-term and long-term product sales forecasts and special reports and analyses, answering questions and requests. Prepare reports on the products by segment, markets, region, sector, size, etc.
- Customer Engagement — Partner with customers during onboarding, pilots, and expansions to ensure smooth adoption and measurable value.
- Data ‑ Driven Insights — Analyze usage patterns and implementation outcomes to recommend improvements for internal stakeholders.
Engineering
, Manage customer relationships, Competitive Analysis, Sales Planning, Presentation skills, technical understanding, Business enablement, technical documentation etc.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, electrical, electronics, and computer science.
- Strong communication & presentation skills.
- Knowledge of the Airport products
- Ability to influence and negotiate in a matrix organization
- Minimum 2 years of work experience in Engineering
- Travel: Yes, 10 % of the Time
