Job Description

  • We are seeking a motivated and passionate Senior Account Manager to be based in Qatar.
  • You will act as primary customer interface for development of business and management of relationships with customers in Energy sector.
  • You will understand customer’s business, drivers, and organization, and the value Honeywell Process Solutions brings.

Responsibilities

  • Primary customer interface for business development and relationship management.
  • Understanding customer’s business, drivers, and organization.
  • Dissemination of key messages and information about Honeywell's value.
  • Business partner to customer, establishes defensible barrier to competitors.
  • Champions customers’ needs within Honeywell.

Business Relationships

  • Develop and sustain long term customer relationships.
  • Engage customers at all levels including senior levels.
  • Early engagement in customer buying process diagnosing needs and tailoring solutions.

Sales Process

  • Manage day to day activities and strategic objectives.
  • Identify new sales opportunities and provide consultative support.
  • Manage and build customer contacts as trusted advisor.
  • Drive sales campaign and LOB strategic initiatives.
  • Plan for account growth in long term.

Customers

  • Industrial customers in Process Industries including technical buyers, economic buyers, executives.
  • Pursuing growth through face to face meetings and winning new customers.

People Management

  • Leverages cross functional company resources.
  • Guides management and executive sponsor interactions.
  • Responsible for motivating others and providing strategic vision.

Networks & Contact

  • Internal: Pole Sales leadership, Account managers, HPS professionals, Sales Operations, Proposal teams.
  • External: End Customers Executives, commercial contacts and partners.

Supervisory Responsibilities

  • No supervisory responsibility as primary manager.
  • Lead other peers as project manager where required.

Geographic Scope & Travel

  • Frequent travel across country required (35% of time).

Key Performance Measures

  • Key sales performance metrics (results vs target; YOY growth, pipeline generated).
  • Forecast accuracy.
  • Responsiveness: Accuracy and on time submission of reporting.
  • Quality and strength of account plans and strategy.
  • Early engagement.
  • Number of new customers.
  • Number of sales calls tracked in Siebel => 10/week.
  • Right/diverse contact points in customer organization.
  • Executing account management plan.
  • Pipeline development at min 3x the target.
  • Linearity.
