Role Overview

  • We are looking for an experienced Product Sales Manager to strengthen our global Paper Machine Clothing (PMC) fabrics unit.
  • As a full line clothing supplier, Valmet offers fabric solutions for entire Paper & Board, Tissue and Pulp Dryers machines.
  • Your product range includes forming fabrics, press felts, belts and dryer fabrics.

Responsibilities

  • Promote and sell the organization's products and services and provide technical sales support.
  • Pursue sales leads, visiting existing and new customers to meet sales target levels.
  • Negotiate prices and delivery times within limits of authority; and conclude sales orders to meet revenue targets.
  • Assess customer needs and suggest appropriate products and services.
  • Identify, research, and contact prospective customers and build positive relationships that will generate future sales and repeat business.
  • Refer sales leads, customer feedback, and information on competitor activity to appropriate contacts within the organization.

Requirements

  • Technical knowledge of paper making process and industrial fabrics.
  • Proven track record of strong customer service and/or sales and/or account management skills preferably in mill environment.
  • BSc/MSc in engineering: Chemical, Production, Industrial Management or similar.
  • 4 7 years' experience in sales and service, preferably in a multinational context.
  • Native Arabic and good command of English.
  • Availability to travel (mainly domestic).
  • Knowledge of MSO.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Characteristics such as a spirit of initiative, dynamism and teamwork are highly valued.
