Role Overview
The Product Planning Assistant or Specialist supports product planning, assortment development, demand analysis, forecasting, inventory planning, launches, pricing, and portfolio performance.
The position is fully remote in the United Arab Emirates and is listed as full-time and entry-level to mid-level.
Core Planning Responsibilities
- Support product-planning strategies and assist Product, Merchandising, and Commercial teams.
- Maintain product plans, assortment calendars, launch schedules, trackers, product databases, and master data.
- Support product lifecycle planning from concept and launch through growth, maturity, and discontinuation.
- Analyze sales history, demand patterns, seasonal trends, product performance, and opportunities.
- Prepare forecasts, monitor forecast accuracy, and explain forecast variances.
- Coordinate inventory planning, stock coverage, reorder requirements, lead times, and stockout risks.
- Identify excess, slow-moving, obsolete, and underperforming products and support inventory optimization.
Launch and Commercial Activities
- Coordinate supplier availability, lead times, minimum order quantities, purchase orders, production schedules, and delivery requirements.
