Role Overview
- As Product Owner, you will represent the voice of the client in projects and be responsible for the member/client experience.
- You will work in close collaboration with the project developer and business analyst to ensure the solution meets user needs.
- You will lead and influence your squads’ specialists and various stakeholders as part of planning, feasibility and development projects.
Responsibilities
- Establish product backlog for projects, mandates and development activities specific to your field of expertise and squads.
- Advise and assist clients and partners with positioning, planning, development, performance and follow up of various strategic mandates.
- Oversee the development and updating of policies, standards, models and programs to support your unit’s strategic projects and mandates.
- Identify and analyze problems, raise any major issues, develop diagnostics and make recommendations to decision making bodies.
- Coach other product owners.
- Represent your unit in dealings with senior management committees and decision making bodies.
- Represent Desjardins when negotiating and committing to agreements with partners and external organizations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- A minimum of eight years of relevant experience
- Knowledge of French is required
- Intermediate advanced proficiency of English
