About the Role

- Define and own key conversion metrics: sign ups, time to first successful call, and activation
- Build dashboards and use funnel data to pinpoint where developers drop off between acquisition and activation
- Translate funnel problems into prioritized product opportunities and experiments
- Own and prioritize the product backlog, writing clear user stories
- Partner with Engineering to refine requirements and sign off on shipped features
- Communicate progress, manage stakeholder expectations, and articulate the 'why' behind decisions using data
Requirements
- 3+ years of product management in SaaS, fintech, or API products
- Track record of owning roadmap execution in a complex domain
- Experience driving growth for an API, developer platform, or usage based product
- Strong technical fluency (APIs, data flows, and architecture basics)
- Familiarity with developer facing products, API documentation, and onboarding flows
- Strong analytical mindset with experience defining metrics, running experiments, and analyzing outcomes
- Experience building dashboards with tools such as Amplitude, Segment, or Iterable
- Daily use of agentic AI tools across product work
- Comfort working across compliance, legal, design, and partner teams in a regulated environment
- Strong written and verbal communication

About the Role

Your Mission
- As Product Manager for the XECD API, your mission is to grow API adoption by improving acquisition to activation conversion.
- You'll work hands on: owning the backlog, writing clear user stories, running experiments, and partnering with Engineering to ship the changes that lift conversion at every step of the funnel.
What You'll Do
- Define and own the key conversion metrics: sign ups, time to first successful call, and activation.
- Build dashboards and use funnel data to pinpoint where developers drop off between acquisition and activation.
- Translate funnel problems into prioritized product opportunities and experiments.
- Own and prioritize the product backlog, writing clear user stories that enable efficient development.
- Partner with Engineering to refine requirements and sign off on shipped features, and with Design, stakeholders, and third parties to manage dependencies and deliver.
- Communicate progress, manage stakeholder expectations, and articulate the 'why' behind decisions using data.
What You'll Bring
- 3+ years of product management in SaaS, fintech, or API products.
- A track record of owning roadmap execution in a complex domain.
- Experience driving growth for an API, developer platform, or usage based product.
- Strong technical fluency (APIs, data flows, and architecture basics) enough to partner with Engineering on technical decisions.

- Comfort working across compliance, legal, design, and partner teams to ship in a regulated environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication, including the ability to translate technical and business decisions across audiences.
- Curious, resourceful, and takes ownership; operates well in ambiguity and makes informed decisions.

Compensation
- The reasonable estimated pay for this role ranges from CAD 100,000 to CAD 120,000.
- Actual compensation is based upon factors such as the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience.
