Hands-on, technically strong, and capable of translating business needs into actionable requirements while working closely with engineering, design, and delivery teams.
This role requires strong analytical capabilities, the ability to build prototypes, and practical coding experience to validate concepts and guide development.
Product Ownership & Delivery
- To work closely with the Product Lead to define the product roadmap, feature backlog, and release strategy.
- Gather, analyze, and validate requirements from business stakeholders and government entities.
- Break down complex business problems into clear user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Own the sprint backlog and ensure timely delivery in alignment with engineering and design teams.
- Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) and ensure quality before releases.
Ai & Technical Contribution
- Collaborate with data scientists and engineers to refine AI/ML features and validate outputs.
- Build prototypes or proof-of-concepts to demonstrate solution feasibility.
- Use coding skills (Python or similar) to test ideas, explore APIs, validate data flows, and support integration logic.
- Evaluate AI models, workflows, and automation logic to ensure alignment with business outcomes.
Stakeholder Communication & Governance
- Liaise with government stakeholders to ensure compliance with policies, regulations, and digital-government standards.
- Prepare clear documentation, functional specifications, workflows, and process maps.
- Lead demos, product presentations, and requirement walkthroughs in both Arabic and English.
Continuous Improvement
- Proactively identify opportunities for optimization, automation, and experience enhancement.
- Monitor product performance and gather user feedback for iterative improvement.
- Support change management, training material, and rollout plans.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- 5+ years of experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, or Technical Product role.
- Native Arabic speaker with excellent English communication.
- Hands-on technical capability with the ability to build prototypes and perform basic coding.
- Strong understanding of modern software development practices (APIs, microservices, cloud, agile delivery).
- Proven experience working on Qatar government IT projects (ministries, authorities, or national platforms).
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers, data teams, and UX.
- Ability to convert complex requirements into structured documentation, workflows, and user stories.
- Strong problem-solving mindset and comfort working in fast-moving, innovation-driven environments.
Preferred Skills (Added Advantage)
- Experience with Python, Streamlit, RAG, or workflow automation tools.
- Experience with AI features such as classification, recommendation, NLP, or conversational interfaces (non-mandatory but beneficial).
- Familiarity with data governance, model evaluation, or AI quality frameworks.
