Elective is a Vancouver-based Series A fintech offering a Learn Now, Pay Later solution for course creators, coaches, and educators.
The first Product Manager will build the product function, partner directly with the CEO, own end-to-end execution, and shape the next phase of growth.
The role has a potential path to senior product leadership as the function grows.
What you’ll be doing
- Translate company strategy into a sequenced roadmap and own scope, sequencing, and tradeoffs.
- Build the product operating system for intake, prioritization, discovery, delivery, and reviews.
- Create clear product definitions and requirements that enable independent engineering delivery.
- Own tactical product tradeoffs and escalate only decisions requiring CEO involvement.
- Run merchant interviews and weekly reviews of customer feedback.
- Define initiative KPIs, pull analytics, and measure outcomes.
- Prepare documentation, guides, and change-management processes for launches.
- Ensure features clear the compliance requirements of regulated financial services in the United States and Canada.
