About the Role
NEXT Ventures seeks a Product Manager to lead the squad responsible for the rule engine governing CFD challenges. You will design new challenge types, build simulation infrastructure, and partner with risk management to close abuse vectors.

Responsibilities
- Design and launch new challenge types targeting new trader segments
- Run competitive analysis on prop firm challenge structures and risk parameters
- Lead the CFDs Trading Rules & Risk squad, writing specs for backend algorithmic work
- Define how trading rules are visualized on the trader facing dashboard
- Design and own the end to end rule violation communication process
- Build internal admin tools requirements for configuring and monitoring rules
- Partner with engineering to build rule simulation and backtesting tools
- Collaborate with Trading and Risk Management on abuse detection and enforcement workflows
- Define and track squad OKRs including GP margin, pass/fail ratios, and dispute volume
Requirements
- 5+ years of product management experience with significant exposure to financial products, risk management, or trading systems
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills
- Experience with business rule engines, configuration driven product logic, or algorithmic decision systems
- Deep understanding of prop trading, CFD trading mechanics, drawdown calculations, and margin management
- Experience designing data visualization for complex states
- Strong process design skills
- Experience working with risk management, fraud, or compliance teams
- Understanding of abusive trading patterns in prop trading or financial markets
- Comfort with high stakes decision making
- Excellent collaboration skills with engineering teams
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or equivalent experience

Your Role in Our Mission
- As Product Manager — Trading Platform, Rules & Risk, you lead the squad responsible for the rule engine governing every CFD challenge.
Challenge Design & Rule Architecture
- Design and launch new challenge types beyond Stellar, Express, Evaluation.
- Run competitive analysis on prop firm challenge structures.
- Lead the CFDs Trading Rules & Risk squad, writing specs for backend algorithmic work.
Trader Facing Experience & Communication
- Define how trading rules are visualized on the trader facing dashboard.
- Design and own the end to end rule violation communication process.
Internal Tooling & Simulation Infrastructure
- Build internal admin tools requirements for configuring and monitoring rules.
- Partner with engineering to build rule simulation and backtesting tools.
Abuse Detection & Risk Partnership
- Collaborate with Trading and Risk Management on abuse detection and management.
- Translate abusive trading patterns into product level rule adjustments.
Measurement & OKR Ownership
- Define and track squad OKRs: GP margin, pass/fail ratios, rule change impact modeling accuracy, false positive violation rate, and trader dispute volume.
What You Bring
- 5+ years of product management experience with financial products, risk management, or trading systems.
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills.
- Experience with business rule engines or algorithmic decision systems.
- Deep understanding of prop trading, CFD trading mechanics, drawdown calculations, and margin management.
- Experience designing data visualization for complex states.
