Its network supports travel product access, purchasing, quoting, booking, reporting, and website content operations.
Workplace
- For candidates based in Toronto, this is a hybrid position requiring two days per week onsite at the Toronto office.
- Candidates based in Vancouver may be considered for a fully remote arrangement.
Job Summary
The Product Manager, Platform Enablement connects the travel product team with the technical product team.
The role gathers business requirements and shapes them into product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
The role focuses on day-to-day requests, smaller projects, and business-as-usual updates to the proprietary product platform.
Key Responsibilities
- Run working sessions with Product, Merchandising, Sales, and Procurement Operations to gather and clarify requirements.
- Write product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria for technical delivery.
- Analyze business processes and recommend improved ways to use the platform.
- Assess system constraints, surface trade-offs, and help prioritize competing requests.
- Lead smaller initiatives through delivery, coordinate dependencies, and flag risks.
- Track requests with the technical product team and validate delivered work against requirements.
- Support intuitive design and tagging structures for product sales, discovery, reporting, and personalization.
- Maintain documentation and support change communication, onboarding, and adoption.
- Use AI to improve efficiency and identify opportunities for the business.
Skills and Qualifications
- Experience in product management, business analysis, or a similar business-side role.
- Experience in travel is preferred.
- Ability to facilitate requirements sessions and write requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Technical product fluency and ability to translate business needs for technical teams.
- Experience analyzing processes and recommending improvements.
- Strong problem-solving, organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Fluency in tagging and metadata structures.
- Comfort using AI tools.
- Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, CMS platforms, and reporting tools is preferred.
- Travel technology, booking systems, or internal commercial platform experience is preferred.
Compensation
- The expected compensation range is CAD 65,000 to CAD 75,000.
- Compensation may vary based on market conditions, geography, qualifications, experience, and education or training.
