Responsibilities
- Define the PVR (PM Suite) vision and roadmap and synthesize inputs into a consolidated roadmap
- Liaise with clients and prospects to understand and drive solutions to business needs
- Work with client implementation teams to guide and coordinate
- Work with development and business analyst teams to advise development of new features
- Work with delivery executives to ensure solutions are delivered on time, on budget, and deliver business value
- Drive innovation and develop partnerships
- Promote the platform and features as part of business development initiatives and support sales efforts
- Regularly meet with existing clients and facilitate monthly User Group meetings
- Monitor and measure profitability, including monthly financial reporting to senior management
- Manage a multi million dollar development and support budget
- Develop and execute on ongoing sales and marketing plans and strategies
Requirements
- Formal training and/or designation related to Product Management and/or Project Management
- Previous leadership and Project Management experience
- Proven experience (5+ years) with enterprise software product management
- Experience in positions requiring analysis, documentation, and client interaction
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent education or training
- Strong organizational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication in English

Position Description

- This is a superb opportunity to join our growing Energy Solutions team in Calgary. We are seeking a Product Manager to hold ultimate accountability for the PVR (PM Suite) application Roadmap.
Your future duties and responsibilities
- Define the PVR (PM Suite) vision and roadmap and work with various partners to collect inputs and synthesize into a consolidated roadmap
- Liaise with clients and prospects to understand and drive solutions to business needs, socialize and review the roadmap and upcoming product changes
- Work with client implementation teams to help guide and coordinate, maintaining connections with the client throughout the process
- Work with development and business analyst teams to advise the development of new features to ensure alignment to roadmap and client needs
- Work with delivery executives to ensure solutions are delivered on time, on budget and deliver on business value
- Drive innovation and develop partnerships
- Promote the platform and features as part of business development initiatives and support sales efforts as needed
- Regularly meet with existing clients and facilitate monthly User Group meetings
- In collaboration with the Service Delivery Manager, monitor and measure the profitability, including monthly financial reporting to senior management
- In collaboration with the Service Delivery Manager, manage a multi million dollar development and support budget
- In collaboration with the Business Development Manager, develop and execute on ongoing sales and marketing plans and strategies
Required Qualifications
- Formal training and/or designation related to Product Management and/or Project Management
- Previous leadership and Project Management experience
- Proven experience (5+ years) with enterprise software product management
- Experience in positions requiring analysis, documentation, and client interaction
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent education or training
- Strong discernment and understanding of sophisticated business situations
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to prioritize and to validate requests
- Excellent written and verbal communication in English

Pay Range
- A reasonable estimate of the current range is $85,000 $160,000.
