- Assist in defining and maintaining the API integrations roadmap by synthesizing market research, competitive analysis, internal and external customer feedback, and business priorities
- Own API integrations strategy end-to-end: gather and document custom requirements, author user stories and acceptance criteria, and maintain comprehensive technical specifications and documentation
- Take on the role of product owner for the team — manage the backlog, plan sprints, and drive execution in an agile environment
- Act as the connective tissue between engineering, design, UX, CS, and partner teams to ensure smooth integrations development, communication, and launch
- Monitor integrations performance and usage metrics; identify improvement opportunities and drive resolution of issues and bugs
- Conduct ongoing market and competitive research to surface new integration partners and best practices
- Communicate progress, priorities, and challenges clearly to internal and external stakeholders across all levels
- Partner with product marketing to plan and execute go-to-market for new integrations and features
- Champion quality by validating that delivered features meet requirements, design intent, and customer expectations — and enable internal teams through training and documentation
- Leverage AI tools to streamline product and development workflows, accelerate documentation and research, and continuously improve quality across the team
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts for varied audiences
- Strong technical aptitude — able to quickly learn complex software systems and understand how different users engage with them
- Experience partnering with internal stakeholders and external customers to gather requirements, align on outcomes, and deliver integration products that solve real business problems
- Proven ability to identify product gaps and deliver clear, data-informed recommendations for improvement
- Comfortable managing multiple priorities independently while collaborating effectively across teams and functions
- Experience in a SaaS environment; Agile/Scrum or Kanban experience preferred
- Experience with API documentation and testing tools
- Familiarity with common integrations protocols (e.g. REST, SOAP)
