Role Overview
The Product Manager — Applied AI & eGRC owns the product roadmap for a Forward Deployed Engineering pod.
The role combines enterprise product management, applied AI, technical prototyping, cybersecurity, and customer delivery.
The role covers user discovery, prototyping, rollout, adoption, and continuous product improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the pod roadmap and prioritize customer problems, pilots, production hardening, and reusable capabilities.
- Translate ambiguous operational needs into requirements, workflows, acceptance criteria, priorities, and release plans.
- Shape AI-enabled workflows involving LLMs, RAG, agents, extraction, classification, summarization, and decision support.
- Define quality measures, evaluations, feedback loops, model trade-offs, and human-in-the-loop controls.
- Use Python, SQL, notebooks, and Figma for prototyping, assumption testing, requirements clarification, and communication.
- Partner on rollout planning, operational readiness, documentation, monitoring, stakeholder communication, and user adoption.
- Account for security, privacy, auditability, access control, data handling, on-premises, air-gapped, and constrained-network environments.
- Turn recurring customer needs into reusable product features and implementation patterns.
Required Qualifications
- Senior-level product management experience with technical, enterprise, data, AI, platform, or applied software products.
- Technical fluency across AI-enabled applications, data workflows, APIs, enterprise integrations, and production deployment constraints.
- Ability to translate ambiguous operational problems into product requirements, workflows, priorities, acceptance criteria, and release plans.
- Hands-on prototyping ability using Python, SQL, notebooks, and design tools such as Figma.
- Understanding of trade-offs among user value, speed, security, reliability, maintainability, and adoption.
- Experience partnering with engineering teams through pilots, production rollout, and product iteration.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Confidence leading requirements sessions, roadmap discussions, internal demos, and stakeholder alignment.
Preferred Experience
- Applied AI product management experience with LLM applications, RAG, agents, evaluations, feedback loops, prompt and workflow iteration, and human-in-the-loop design.
- Strong preference for enterprise GRC or eGRC product experience, including risk, compliance, evidence, policy, audit, remediation, third-party risk, or regulatory workflows.
- Enterprise delivery experience covering roadmaps, releases, pilot-to-production transitions, integrations, adoption metrics, documentation, support, and operational readiness.
- Cybersecurity or sensitive-environment experience, including security operations, IAM, audit logging, data classification, regulated data, on-premises, air-gapped, or constrained networks.
Ideal Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate is technically fluent across user problems, AI workflows, data, system constraints, engineering implementation, and business outcomes.
The candidate should be comfortable with ambiguity, lightweight prototypes, practical trade-offs, and driving products into reliable production use.
The role values adoption and operational impact alongside product features.
What Ansen Offers
