• Product Formulation & Development
- Develop and refine cosmetic formulations (e.g., foundations, lip products, eyeshadows, primers) that meet target performance, texture, shade range, and stability requirements.
- Create prototypes, batch records, and detailed formulation documentation for internal review and scale-up.
- Conduct bench and instrumental testing to evaluate color, wear, transfer, viscosity, particle size, and stability under accelerated and real-time conditions.
• Quality, Safety & Regulatory Compliance
- Ensure formulations comply with applicable cosmetic regulations, ingredient restrictions, and labeling requirements for target markets.
- Work with the quality and regulatory teams to maintain safety assessments, technical files, and supporting documentation for claims substantiation.
- Support stability, preservative efficacy, and microbiological testing; implement corrective actions when results do not meet specifications.
• Product Testing & Consumer Insights
- Coordinate and support in-vivo and consumer testing (wear trials, sensory panels, shade matching) and capture actionable feedback to guide formulation and shade decisions.
- Analyze test data to recommend formulation adjustments, packaging changes, or claim refinements that improve consumer satisfaction and product performance.
- Collaborate with merchandising and marketing to translate consumer insights into product features and positioning.
• Supplier & Manufacturing Coordination
- Partner with suppliers and contract manufacturers to source raw materials, colorants, pigments, and packaging components that meet quality and
