About the Role
SILQFi is building infrastructure for embedded Buy Now Pay Later and Supply Chain Finance for B2B commerce.
The company is hiring a Founding Product Designer to build the Buyer App experience in B2B fintech.
The role is the first full-time design position and works directly with the Head of Product and VP Growth.
What You Will Be Doing
- Own the Buyer App experience end to end across web and mobile, from SME onboarding in under five minutes to credit-utilization visibility.
- Study proven credit UX/UI patterns from companies such as Klarna, Affirm, Tabby, and Tamara, then adapt them for B2B and the local environment.
- Build a consistent design system across the Buyer App, merchant panel, and embedded touchpoints.
- Design for trust so first-time borrowers understand what they signed up for without unnecessary complexity.
- Establish design standards, processes, and a scalable quality bar for future banking capabilities.
What We Are Looking For
- Experience designing products in financial services, healthcare, or enterprise software where user confusion has significant consequences.
- Evidence of shipping live products carried from ambiguity through production.
- Deep care for users who may find credit terminology such as tenure and disbursement intimidating.
- Comfort with ambiguity and speed, with design decisions made through direct collaboration rather than committees.
Skills That Set You Apart
- BNPL or consumer fintech design experience is advantageous.
- RTL design experience for Arabic interfaces is a strong plus for the MENA user base.
- Experience building fresh, new-age, minimalist design systems from scratch is advantageous.
