Minimum Qualifications

• Significant experience in a senior product design role, with a focus on software design across a range of platforms.
• A proven track record as the lead designer on complex projects, from problem definition through to development and release.
• An online portfolio demonstrating the quality and scope of your work.
• An exceptional eye for detail, creative problem solving, and fluency in modern software design patterns and tools.
• The ability to clearly communicate ideas through sketches, wireframes, high-fidelity comps, and interactive prototypes.
• Comfort operating without a fixed roadmap or long-term product ownership, and with context-switching between multiple concurrent projects.
• Flexibility and enthusiasm for an iterative design process, driven by collaborative group critique.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the capacity to influence partner teams and confidently present to large groups and executives.
• Empathy and advocacy for the international user experience when collaborating with engineering, marketing, and business teams.
• Hands-on familiarity with emerging AI and LLM-based tools, whether code-based or generative, to accelerate prototyping and exploration.
• A passion for Apple, its products, and its customers worldwide.

Preferred Qualifications

• In addition to English, fluency in a second language - particularly one relevant to markets in Europe, the Middle East, Africa, or Latin America, is ideal.
• You have an affinity for consistency, colour use, and typography, along with a sensitivity to subtle details.
• While setting a high bar for aesthetics, you’re able to grasp and distill highly complex issues and translate them into clean, focused, understandable solutions.
• You bring composure under pressure and the ability to articulate design intent under tight deadlines.
