Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and results-driven **Procurement Specialist** to join our team.
The ideal candidate should have solid experience in procurement processes, supplier management, and cost optimization, with the ability to support operational efficiency and ensure timely availability of materials and services.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end procurement process, including sourcing, purchasing, and delivery follow-up.
- Identify and evaluate suppliers, negotiate pricing, and establish strong vendor relationships.
- Prepare and execute purchase orders in line with company policies and project requirements.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with relevant departments to ensure material availability.
- Ensure compliance with company procedures, contracts, and procurement standards.
- Utilize ERP systems (such as Dynamics AX) to manage procurement transactions and reporting.
- Coordinate with finance for invoice verification and timely payments.
- Track and analyze procurement data to support cost-saving initiatives.
- Handle logistics coordination for local and international shipments when required.
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and supplier performance.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or a related field.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in procurement or supply chain.
- Previous work experience in Saudi Arabia is preferred, preferably within the contracting/construction sector.
- Strong negotiation and supplier management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems (Dynamics AX preferred).
- Good understanding of procurement procedures and contract management.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
