AECOM is hiring a Procurement Specialist I to support purchasing activities under close or direct supervision.
The role supports infrastructure, rail, transportation, construction, and engineering projects.
Responsibilities
- Purchase supplies and services from vendors at the lowest cost according to company standards and specifications.
- Assist with requests for proposals, analyze quotations, and select vendors.
- Schedule and expedite deliveries and follow up on received invoices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- Typically 10 or more years of procurement, sourcing, and contract administration experience.
- Experience with large-scale infrastructure, rail, transportation, construction, or engineering projects.
Preferred Certifications
- CIPS, MCIPS, or supply chain management certifications are highly desirable.
- PMP certification is advantageous.
Onboarding
- New hires are required to attend an in-person Day 1 onboarding at an AECOM office location.
