Role Overview
Aversan is seeking an IT Procurement Specialist with experience in technology procurement and supplier negotiations.
The role supports global procurement and strategic sourcing for technology categories.
Location and Arrangement
- The position is located in Saint-Laurent, Quebec.
- The working arrangement is hybrid.
Responsibilities
- Advise internal stakeholders on global procurement and strategic sourcing.
- Develop and execute category and global technology sourcing strategies.
- Maintain a multiyear opportunity pipeline and identify cross-category synergies.
- Build analytics models for data-driven procurement decisions.
- Monitor technology sourcing trends and maintain strategic supplier relationships.
- Implement improvement initiatives and coach junior team members.
Basic Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, law, or another relevant discipline is required.
- At least seven years of procurement experience is required.
- Expertise in global IT infrastructure, cloud services, software, telecom, or technology procurement is required.
