Overview
We are urgently hiring a **Procurement/Purchasing Officer** to support our interior fit-out projects in the UAE.
The ideal candidate will assist in procurement activities, supplier coordination, and material purchasing to ensure smooth project execution, cost efficiency, and timely delivery of materials.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in end-to-end procurement and purchasing activities
- Source materials, suppliers, and subcontractors as per project requirements
- Obtain quotations and support price comparisons
- Prepare and process purchase orders and procurement documentation
- Follow up with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials
- Coordinate with project managers and site teams regarding material requirements
- Maintain updated supplier database and purchase records
- Monitor pricing, availability, and delivery schedules
- Ensure materials meet required specifications and quality standards
- Support procurement team in cost control and value optimization
- Conduct site or supplier visits when required
Requirements
- 2–3 years of experience in Purchasing / Procurement (preferably in interior fit-out or construction)
- Basic knowledge of construction/interior materials is an advantage
- Strong negotiation and communication skills
- Ability to handle multiple tasks under tight deadlines
- Good organizational and documentation skills
- UAE experience preferred
- Immediate availability is an advantage
