Role Description
The employer is seeking a procurement operations professional to oversee operational purchasing, streamline vendor workflows, and maintain procurement master data integrity.
The role is described as entry-to-mid level and works with procurement, sourcing, logistics, and finance stakeholders.
Core Responsibilities
- Manage purchase order creation and track purchase requisitions.
- Maintain supplier master data, item catalogs, unit pricing databases, and contract metadata.
- Audit procurement operations for compliance with internal policies.
- Evaluate supplier quotes and support request-for-quotation processes.
- Coordinate cross-functional approvals and monitor purchase order delivery statuses.
- Resolve invoice matching variances with accounts payable.
- Compile procurement operational metrics and identify workflow bottlenecks.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Practical understanding of end-to-end Procure-to-Pay cycles, including requisitions, purchase orders, receiving, and supplier disputes.
- Experience or familiarity with procurement master data maintenance.
