About the Role
A well-established construction company in Dubai seeks a highly qualified Procurement Officer with minimum 5 years of UAE construction procurement experience. The role involves managing the complete procurement cycle, sourcing suppliers, negotiating contracts, and ensuring timely delivery for construction projects.

Responsibilities
- Manage the complete procurement cycle, from receiving purchase requests to supplier selection, negotiation, purchase order issuance, and delivery follow up
- Source and evaluate suppliers and subcontractors based on commercial, technical, quality, and delivery requirements
- Prepare and analyze Requests for Quotation (RFQs), commercial comparisons, and supplier evaluations
- Negotiate prices, payment terms, delivery schedules, and contractual conditions to achieve the best value for the company
- Coordinate with Project Managers, Engineers, Quantity Surveyors, and the Warehouse to ensure timely procurement of project requirements
- Develop and maintain long term relationships with suppliers and subcontractors while continuously identifying new sourcing opportunities
- Monitor market trends, material pricing, and supplier performance to optimize procurement efficiency and reduce project costs
- Ensure full compliance with company procurement policies, contractual obligations, and project schedules
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of proven procurement experience within the UAE construction industry
