Responsibilities
- Manage the complete procurement cycle, from receiving purchase requests to supplier selection, negotiation, purchase order issuance, and delivery follow up
- Source and evaluate suppliers and subcontractors based on commercial, technical, quality, and delivery requirements
- Prepare and analyze Requests for Quotation (RFQs), commercial comparisons, and supplier evaluations
- Negotiate prices, payment terms, delivery schedules, and contractual conditions to achieve the best value for the company
- Coordinate with Project Managers, Engineers, Quantity Surveyors, and the Warehouse to ensure timely procurement of project requirements
- Develop and maintain long term relationships with suppliers and subcontractors while continuously identifying new sourcing opportunities
- Monitor market trends, material pricing, and supplier performance to optimize procurement efficiency and reduce project costs
- Ensure full compliance with company procurement policies, contractual obligations, and project schedules
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of proven procurement experience within the UAE construction industry
- Extensive knowledge of the UAE market, including construction materials, approved suppliers, subcontractors, and procurement procedures
- Proven experience in sourcing, negotiating, purchasing, and managing procurement activities for construction projects
- Excellent negotiation, analytical, and communication skills
- Fluent in both Arabic and English (written and spoken)
- Valid UAE Driving License and own vehicle
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline is preferred
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP procurement systems
