Procurement Manager – Pre-Openings & OS&E

Role overview

Key responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end procurement for assigned hotel pre-opening projects, including requirements, budgets, sourcing, purchasing, delivery, and handover.
• Coordinate quantities, specifications, delivery schedules, samples, mock-ups, inspections, inventory verification, and departmental distribution.
• Manage supplier identification, RFQs, RFPs, tendering, quotation analysis, commercial comparisons, negotiations, and supplier recommendations.
• Coordinate purchase orders, logistics, shipments, customs, warehousing, production schedules, quality checks, and delivery arrangements.
• Monitor lead times, budgets, procurement expenditure, opening-path risks, supplier obligations, and corrective actions.
• Coordinate snagging, shortages, damaged items, replacements, warranties, documentation, supplier contacts, and final handover to hotels.
• Support multiple projects and contribute to improvements in procurement standards, supplier networks, specifications, and pre-opening processes.

Qualifications and experience

• A bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business Administration, Hospitality Management, Engineering, or a related field is required.
• At least 5–7 years of relevant procurement experience is required; hospitality, hotel, resort, or large-scale development experience is preferred.
• Strong hotel pre-opening procurement and OS&E experience is highly preferred.
• Experience managing procurement from budgeting and tendering through delivery and operational handover is required.
• Knowledge of OS&E categories across Rooms, Housekeeping, Food and Beverage, Kitchens, Stewarding, Front Office, Spa, Engineering, Security, and related departments is required.
• Strong knowledge of procurement processes, commercial negotiation, supplier management, logistics, inventory coordination, budgets, and project timelines is required.
• Strong project management, organization, communication, stakeholder management, problem-solving, and multidisciplinary collaboration skills are required.
• Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office proficiency are required; procurement or ERP systems experience is advantageous.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication is required; additional languages are advantageous.
• Willingness to travel to project locations, suppliers, factories, and hotel sites is required.
