Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end procurement activities for interior fit-out projects.
- Source and negotiate with suppliers, vendors, and subcontractors for materials, finishes, furniture, fixtures, and project-related requirements.
- Review project specifications, drawings, BOQs, and material requirements.
- Prepare and issue RFQs, compare quotations, and finalize suppliers based on quality, cost, and delivery timelines.
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, delivery schedules, and contract terms.
- Ensure timely procurement and delivery of materials to meet project schedules.
- Maintain strong relationships with local UAE suppliers, manufacturers, and subcontractors.
- Coordinate with project managers, site teams, design teams, quantity surveyors, and finance departments.
- Monitor procurement budgets and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Ensure all materials meet approved specifications, quality standards, and client requirements.
- Manage supplier performance, resolve procurement issues, and maintain updated vendor records.
- Prepare procurement reports, cost comparisons, purchase orders, and related documentation.
- Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and approval procedures.
Requirements
- Minimum 7 years of UAE experience in procurement, preferably within the interior fit-out industry.
- Strong knowledge of interior fit-out materials, finishes, joinery, furniture, MEP-related items, and supplier networks in the UAE.
- Proven experience in vendor negotiation, cost control, and procurement planning.
- Ability to read and understand BOQs, drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
- Strong network of UAE-based suppliers, contractors, and subcontractors.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and coordination skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office, ERP/procurement systems, and reporting tools.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality.
