Procurement and Supplier Management
- Negotiate supplier pricing, payment terms, and contracts.
- Track supplier lead times and capacity to maintain product availability.
- Identify and onboard backup suppliers for critical items.
- Review supplier performance for price, quality, reliability, and lead time.
- Raise, approve, and track purchase orders within budget and approval guidelines.
- Flag market price movements, shortages, and supply risks to the Finance Director.
- Coordinate central-kitchen procurement with the Head Chef and Beverage Development and QC.
Warehouse Management
- Manage the Store Keeper and Warehouse Supervisor and oversee daily warehouse operations.
- Ensure products are stored according to temperature, humidity, FIFO, food-safety, and hygiene requirements.
- Maintain products in sellable condition and minimize spoilage, damage, and wastage.
- Maintain real-time stock records and lead physical stock counts and reconciliations.
- Enforce warehouse safety, cleanliness, and organizational standards.
ERP Purchasing Compliance
- Keep the ERP system updated with complete and correct purchasing information.
- Process all purchase orders exclusively through the ERP system.
Reporting and Coordination
- Report to the General Manager with a dotted line to the Finance Director.
- Provide regular management information on procurement spend and supplier performance.
