Position Overview
Lead global sourcing and supply chain operations for industrial and commercial hardware materials.
Drive cost efficiency, quality assurance, and long-term vendor partnerships across the procurement lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute procurement strategies for manufacturing, production, and operational goals.
- Lead sourcing, evaluation, and purchasing of hardware materials, fasteners, fixtures, and industrial components.
- Negotiate high-value contracts, pricing structures, and favorable terms with local and international suppliers.
- Manage, mentor, and elevate the procurement and supply chain team.
- Collaborate with engineering, production, and quality control to ensure acquired hardware meets standards and specifications.
- Monitor market trends, supply chain vulnerabilities, and commodity costs to mitigate risk and optimize inventory.
- Implement digital procurement workflows and ERP systems for improved tracking and transparency.
Key Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 8 to 10 years of progressive procurement experience, including at least 4 years in a leadership or management role.
- Experience must be within the manufacturing or industrial sector.
- Deep, hands-on knowledge of hardware materials and industrial supply markets is strictly required.
- Proven vendor negotiation, cost reduction, and strategic sourcing experience.
- Exceptional leadership, analytical, and cross-functional communication skills.
- Advanced proficiency in ERP systems and procurement software.
