- Identify appropriate procurement sources for the university using best practices to ensure best price and quality.
- Assist in communicating with government departments and other institutions to stay updated on procurement developments.
- Prepare and update procurement document templates according to policies and procedures.
- Assist in classifying procurement plans into centralized and decentralized categories.
- Assist in providing all central goods, materials, services, and works needed by the university.
- Assist in supervising specialized procurement operations in organizational units and provide support.
- Assist in organizing training courses for procurement participants.
- Assist in ensuring compliance with procurement system forms and templates.
- Assist in preparing required reports and recommendations for work development.
- Contribute to building strong long term relationships with suppliers.
- Supervise the execution of tasks assigned to employees and manage teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree
- Knowledge of procurement laws and regulations
- Knowledge of university procurement policies and procedures
- Data collection and analysis skills
- English language proficiency
