The employer is seeking a Procurement Executive to handle purchases of fruits, vegetables, and other foodstuff items.
The role supports timely procurement, quality standards, and smooth operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Source and purchase fruits, vegetables, and other foodstuff products from local and international suppliers.
- Communicate daily with suppliers to ensure timely availability of required items.
- Prepare and maintain purchase orders, contracts, and related documents.
- Maintain updated records of suppliers, pricing, and stock availability.
- Coordinate with store and logistics teams to support smooth delivery and stock availability.
- Support inventory planning and help prevent shortages or overstock situations.
- Work with the accounts team to verify invoices and ensure timely payments.
- Monitor market trends and price fluctuations to optimize purchasing.
- Handle daily email correspondence with suppliers and internal departments.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Purchase Executive in the foodstuff or fruits and vegetables trading industry is preferred.
- Proficiency in MS Office, including Word and Excel, is required.
- Strong email communication, negotiation, and communication skills are required.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines is required.
- Knowledge of local and international suppliers in the food industry is an added advantage.
- A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification is preferred.
Compensation
- The pay is AED 3,000 to AED 5,000 per month.
Workplace
- The work location is in person.
