Procurement Engineer-II

Capability Assessment of New and Existing Suppliers: Development of Global and Regional Sourcing Strategies with them.

Supply Base Performance: identification & Selection of suppliers that meet criteria to support HYG’s objectives for quality, delivery, cost.

Sourcing strategies that support corporate objectives.

Manage the business relationship with allocated suppliers to support HYG.

Negotiation and multi-year pricing agreements with suppliers.

Cost Management (Cost Planning + Cost Control): Negotiation and approval of supplier proposals, pricing, terms and conditions.

Formulate strategies and implement corrective action plans for quality & delivery issues.

Negotiate and arbitrate final resolution of problems arising between suppliers and HYG plants, product development centres and departments (Accounting, Logistics, etc.).

Supply Base Management: Proactive re-sourcing of materials or supplier replacement when plant performance is adversely affected.

Manage tooling budget to support new product development and cost reduction programs.

Material planning and coordination with internal & external stakeholders

Advance analytics- hand on experience in power BI , use of Ai techniques etc
