- Identify potential suppliers based on project requirements and specifications
- Source engineered products from local & international markets and maintain a robust supplier database
- Prepare bid requisitions and conduct technical and commercial evaluations of bids
- Negotiate favorable terms and conditions with suppliers and prepare and issue purchase orders
- Ensure compliance with contractual agreements and quality standards
- Collaborate closely with project teams to meet procurement deadlines and project requirements
- Identify cost saving opportunities and implement strategies to optimize procurement processes
- Maintain effective communication with suppliers and internal stakeholders
- Provide regular updates on procurement status and address any issues or concerns proactively
- Manage contract changes, variations, and claims
- Adhere to company policies, procedures, industry standards, local regulations and international trade laws
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in procurement, preferably in an EPC Oil & Gas contracting company
- Strong knowledge of international markets and supplier networks
- Proficiency in English is essential
- Proficiency in basic MS Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast paced environment

Overview
- We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Procurement Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering along with a minimum of 3 years of experience in procurement, particularly in sourcing various engineered products for EPC projects.
Key Responsibilities

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering with strong foundation in engineering principles.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in procurement, preferably in an EPC Oil & Gas contracting company. UAE / GCC experience is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of international markets and supplier networks.
- Proficiency in English is essential, with an advantage of additional language skills.
- Proficiency in basic MS Office applications consisting of Excel, Word & Outlook are essential.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast paced environment.
- Familiarity with procurement software and tools is desirable.
