About the Role
Dhafir Technologies LLC seeks an HSE Engineer for oil & gas EPC projects in Abu Dhabi. The role requires leading HSE personnel, implementing HSE plans, and ensuring compliance with ADNOC standards.

Responsibilities
- Lead a team of HSE personnel such as HSE officers, Hygiene officers etc.
- Develop and implement HSE plans, Welfare plans, Emergency response procedures/plans and site specific HSE procedures / work instructions
- Implement SSOW (PTW/ WMS/ Risk Assessment etc.)
- Conduct training/awareness sessions on relevant HSE procedures applicable to the SOW
- Implement practical H2S control measures
- Conduct HSE audits and inspections
- Investigate incidents, identify immediate and root causes
Requirements
- Bachelor Degree or Diploma in Engineering OR Bachelor Degree in relevant Science OR HSE discipline
- Minimum NEBOSH IGC or Equivalent (subject to approval by ADNOC Group)
- Lead auditor ISO 45001/ ISO 14001 or equivalent
- Incident Investigation techniques
- Minimum 7 10 Years Experience in HSE Construction, Fabrication, installation and/or commissioning projects / operations in the oil & gas or petro chemical industries
- Strong understanding of HSE issues, practices and behavioral aspects in the Oil & Gas EPC business
- Ability to lead a team of HSE personnel
- Ability to develop and implement HSE plans, Welfare plans, Emergency response procedures/plans and site specific HSE procedures / work instructions
- Practical experience in implementation of SSOW (PTW/ WMS/ Risk Assessment etc.)
- Ability to conduct training/awareness sessions on relevant HSE procedures
- Ability to implement practical H2S control measures
- Ability to conduct HSE audits and inspections

Position Title

Education Qualification
- Bachelor Degree or Diploma in Engineering OR Bachelor Degree in relevant Science OR HSE discipline (from an institution of higher learning authorized to grant academic degrees in the country of issue)
Professional / Technical Qualifications
- Minimum one of the following: NEBOSH IGC or Equivalent (Subject to approval by ADNOC Group) Any other HSE certifications (considered at ADNOC Group discretion)
- Mandatory: Lead auditor ISO 45001/ ISO 14001 or equivalent. Incident Investigation techniques.
- Additional HSE Trainings / Certifications will be added advantage
Work Experience
- Minimum 7 10 Years Experience in HSE Construction, Fabrication, installation and/or commissioning projects / operations in the oil & gas or petro chemical industries.
Skills and Competencies
- Have strong understanding of the HSE issues, practices and behavioral aspects in the Oil & Gas EPC business.
- Able to lead a team of HSE personnel such as HSE officers, Hygiene officers etc.
- Sound understanding of the HSE Management System and HSE legislative requirements.
- Ability to develop and implement HSE plans, Welfare plans, Emergency response procedures/plans and site specific HSE procedures / work instructions.
- Practical experience in implementation of SSOW (PTW/ WMS/ Risk Assessment etc.)
- Ability to conduct training/awareness sessions on relevant HSE procedures applicable to the SOW.
- Ability to implement practical H2S control measures.
- Ability to conduct HSE audits and inspections.
- Ability to investigate incidents, identify immediate and root causes.
- Ability to speak, read and write English with good communication skills.
- Effective interpersonal and verbal & written communication skills.
