• The project:
• This is an opportunity to work on one of the largest programmes in Saudi Arabia.
• This unique project consists of major mixed-use development including sports facilities, entertainment and arts along with all associated infrastructure.
• Mace is one of the delivery partners requiring high-calibre and experienced professionals to lead integrated teams throughout each phase of the project.
• You’ll be responsible for:
• Strategic planning. Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with project goals, timelines.
• Develop and deliver procurement strategies aligned to project objectives, timelines and budgets.
• Provide market intelligence to identify and secure high-quality supply chain partners.
• Lead supplier prequalification, performance and relationship management.
• Manage complex, high-value tenders and contracts, ensuring compliance and value optimisation.
• Oversee end-to-end procurement delivery, ensuring cost control and programme certainty.
• Drive category strategies and continuous performance improvement across functions.
• Act as a strategic partner to senior stakeholders, influencing at executive level.
• Mitigate risk through robust due diligence, governance and supply chain resilience.
• Works collaboratively towards the common goal of net zero carbon transition and share responsibility for the proactive identification and management of the associated carbon emissions and reductions during the delivery of work.
• You’ll need to have:
• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, business administration, engineering, or a related field.
• Demonstrated experience in managing and delivering vertical integration (end-to-end supply chain linkage) projects.
• Progressing toward chartership (CIPS) with a recognised professional body and ongoing professional development.
• Proven experience in managing procurement for large-scale projects.
• Effective communicator with analytical capability and ability to engage, influence and build trusted stakeholder relationships.
• Necessary visa criteria for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and have relevant work experience working on high-valued projects/programmes for a project management consultancy business, which are required for immigration and client approval.
