About the Role
Holcim UAE is seeking a Procurement Coordinator to support plant operations with prequalification, vendor registration, contractor safety management, and procurement activities. Requires 2-3 years of relevant UAE experience, basic procurement knowledge, and a diploma or certificate.

Responsibilities
- Maintain and manage inventory records and procurement documentation with accuracy and compliance
- Drive monthly cost optimization and procurement savings initiatives
- Lead the vendor prequalification process for goods and service providers
- Support Group Reporting and dashboard preparation through Power BI, including monthly spend analysis and tracking
- Obtain and evaluate a minimum of three quotations from potential suppliers
- Process and release Purchase Orders (POs) for spare parts procurement from local and GCC suppliers through SAP
- Prepare Purchase Orders, coordinate GRPO processing, and facilitate invoice submission to Finance
- Coordinate with vendors on payment follow ups and monitor pending or missing invoices
- Support the team with all Prequalification related activities along with vendor registration
- Support the team with all Contractor Safety management topics and activities (CSM)
Requirements
- Diploma or Certificate
- 2 to 3 years of relevant experience in UAE
- Basic knowledge of Procurement related activities
- English, Arabic or Hindi language skills
- UAE Driver’s License is an advantage

Job Purpose
- To be an integral part of the procurement department to support with the day to day activities of the plant operations.
- Support the team with all Prequalification related activities along with vendor registration.
- Support the team with all Contractor Safety management topics and activities (CSM).
Job Responsibilities
- Maintain and manage inventory records and procurement documentation with accuracy and compliance.
- Drive monthly cost optimization and procurement savings initiatives.
- Lead the vendor prequalification process for goods and service providers.
- Support Group Reporting and dashboard preparation through Power BI, including monthly spend analysis and tracking.
- Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of procurement processes and best practices.
- Maintain thorough understanding and compliance with Procurement related MCS requirements.
- Obtain and evaluate a minimum of three quotations from potential suppliers.
- Process and release Purchase Orders (POs) for spare parts procurement from local and GCC suppliers through SAP.
- Prepare Purchase Orders, coordinate GRPO processing, and facilitate invoice submission to the Finance Department.
- Coordinate with vendors on payment follow ups and monitor pending or missing invoices between suppliers and the Finance team.
- Annual Vendor Management & Evaluation.
Education Qualification & Work Experience
- Diploma/Certificate.
- UAE Driver’s License is an advantage.
- 2 to 3 years of relevant experience in UAE.
- Basic knowledge of Procurement related activities are mandatory.
- Language skills: English, Arabic or Hindi.

- Sets personal examples and acts as role model to ensure a solid Health & Safety culture.
- Create Health & Safety awareness by promoting safety meetings and talks.
- Ensure the use of personal protective equipment on/off site.
- Compliance with H&S Policies, Rules and Regulations on site and on the road.
- Prepare risk assessment/permits/LOTOTO before starting any task.
- Support the department in achieving CSM targets and deadline.
