Procurement Coordinator

Job Responsibilities

• Develop cost-effective procurement strategies and source reliable suppliers and vendors.
• Negotiate supplier and vendor terms and maintain long-term relationships.
• Review supplier and vendor contracts for ongoing feasibility.
• Approve purchase orders and organize and confirm delivery of goods and services.
• Assess risks related to potential contracts and agreements.
• Control the procurement budget and promote long-term procurement cost savings.
• Oversee systems tracking shipments, inventory, and the supply of goods.
• Prepare procurement reports.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, or a related field.
• Proven experience managing supply chain operations.
• Experience with supply chain management software and tools, including Oracle, SAP Ariba, or Envision.
• Knowledge of contracts, invoicing, and negotiation terms.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Access.
• Management, leadership, multitasking, prioritization, organization, detail orientation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
