Role Description
Entry-to-junior procurement role supporting purchasing workflows, purchase order administration, vendor coordination, and supply management.
Works with Procurement Executives, Sourcing Managers, Warehouse Leads, and Accounts Payable Specialists to acquire goods and services accurately, cost-effectively, and on schedule.
Core Responsibilities
- Create, issue, expedite, track, and close purchase orders.
- Source competitive vendor quotations and track shipment delivery dates.
- Verify inbound delivery documents against purchasing records.
- Update supplier databases and resolve minor price or quantity discrepancies.
- Assist with supplier performance evaluations and maintain compliant purchasing audit trails.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in supply chain management, procurement, business administration, logistics, or a related field.
- Understanding of purchasing cycles, R2PO workflows, quotation collection, and vendor tracking.
- Hands-on experience or academic training in purchase order administration.
- Ability to compare vendor bids and evaluate lead times and payment terms.
- Experience with three-way matching of purchase orders, goods receipt notes, and supplier invoices.
