Role Description
Support daily purchasing activities, inventory logs, vendor communication, and compliant purchasing workflows.
Work with Procurement Officers, Supply Chain Managers, Inventory Specialists, and Accounts Payable teams.
The role is described as entry-to-junior level.
Core Responsibilities
- Process purchase requisitions and create, issue, and track purchase orders through fulfillment.
- Track shipment deliveries and verify goods receipts against order specifications.
- Update purchasing databases and maintain supplier records.
- Follow up on delivery delays and assist with quarterly vendor reviews.
- Reconcile shipping documents with invoices for payment processing.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Purchasing, or a related field.
- Hands-on experience or coursework in procurement concepts, requisition workflows, and ordering cycles.
- Proficiency in purchase order drafting, verification, issuing, and tracking.
- Ability to communicate with suppliers, request quotes, and resolve routine order discrepancies.
- Understanding of invoice matching across purchase orders, receiving documents, and invoices.
