Procurement Assistant / Purchasing Assistant / Procurement Coordinator

Role Description

Responsibilities

• Prepare and process purchase orders, track order status, and coordinate supplier deliveries.
• Maintain procurement records, update purchasing databases, and assist with vendor onboarding and evaluation.
• Understand internal requirements, obtain quotes, compare pricing, and help optimize cost, quality, and delivery performance.
• Monitor inventory levels, resolve order or invoice discrepancies, and support continuous improvement of procurement processes and tools.

Qualifications

• Skills related to purchasing processes, purchasing, purchase order management, and procurement are required.
• Strong communication, attention to detail, accurate data entry, and organizational skills are required.
• Candidates must be able to work independently in a remote environment with reliable time management and follow-through.
• Comfort with spreadsheets, procurement or ERP tools, and common office software such as Excel, Word, and email platforms is required.
• Prior procurement, purchasing, supply chain, or administrative support experience is preferred but not required.
• Relevant education or training in business, supply chain, or a related field is a plus.
