Job Summary

  • We are seeking a detail oriented, proactive, and organized Procurement Assistant to support our purchasing and procurement operations.
  • The successful candidate will assist with sourcing suppliers, obtaining quotations, preparing purchase orders, maintaining accurate procurement records, and ensuring the timely delivery of goods and services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in sourcing and evaluating suppliers based on price, quality, availability, and delivery terms.
  • Obtain and compare quotations from suppliers and service providers.
  • Prepare and process purchase orders accurately and efficiently.
  • Maintain and update supplier information, purchasing records, and procurement documentation.
  • Monitor purchase orders and follow up with suppliers to ensure timely delivery.
  • Coordinate with internal departments to understand and fulfill purchasing requirements.
  • Liaise with vendors to resolve discrepancies, delays, shortages, or delivery issues.
  • Assist with supplier relationship management and contract administration.
  • Support inventory and stock related purchasing requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and procedures.
  • Assist in preparing procurement reports, budgets, cost comparisons, and analysis.
  • Perform other purchasing and administrative duties as assigned by the Procurement Manager.

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Purchasing Assistant, Procurement Assistant, or in a similar procurement role.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • An Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, or a related field is preferred.
  • 2–3 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or a related administrative role.
  • Experience with procurement or ERP software such as Odoo, Jiffy, or similar systems is an advantage.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Good command of written and spoken English.

Pay

  • AED 3,000 AED 4,000 per month
