Overview
- Manage procurement processes, including sourcing, purchasing, and vendor negotiation
- Prepare and issue Proforma Invoices as required
- Coordinate logistics, shipments, and delivery schedules
- Assigns logistics providers to provide transport services to deliver goods from various locations across the globe
- Compiles carrier and route assignments.
- Tracks, traces, and updates the status of shipments on daily basis.
- Follows up with logistics providers, relevant departments for timely delivery of goods
- Provides regular operational reporting on logistics to relevant departments and to management
- Ensure compliance with company policies and cost control measures
- Ability to work with little supervision and track multiple processes
- Computer-savvy with a working knowledge of any logistics software (ERP)
- Outstanding organizational and coordination abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
