Process Technician- Elastomer Products

Provide molded components promptly to ensure production schedules are met.

Generate documentation on molding runs that can be used to control traceability and ensure reproducibility.

Troubleshoot electrical/mechanical systems and connections between Tool/Die and the machines.

Analyze, install, test, and review machine settings to increase operating efficiency.

Complete required paperwork routing/setup sheet

Confer with Supervisor, area leaders, or others to resolve molding and trimming issues .

Optimize material utilization through process and improve scrap reduction.

Identify employee training needs and communicate to Operations Manager.

Maintain good housekeeping and EHS requirements.

Perform other related duties as assigned.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

Minimum of 5 years’ experience in compression molding or similar

High school diploma or equivalent

Excellent organizational skills.

Experience with Process Control Documentation

Ability to develop process sheets and set parameters for current and new products.

Must have good oral and written communication.

Ability to lift 50 lbs.

Able to stand for long periods of time.

Bilingual in Spanish/English a plus.

WORK ENVIRONMENT / CONDITIONS / PHYSICAL DEMANDS :

Must have the ability to sit, stand or walk for extended periods of time. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and ability to adjust focus. Lift up to 50 pounds. Employee may be required to work weekends, holidays and be on-call on occasion. The employee may encounter controlled air conditions with frequent air changes, environmental exposure. Domestic / International travel occasionally.
