Drive technical improvement and innovation across leading FMCG manufacturing sitesMake an impact: Turn technical data into practical improvements across quality, efficiency and productivityWork collaboratively: Partner with Operations, R&D, Technical, Quality and CI teamsBuild your career: Join a market-leading FMCG business on a 9-month FTCThe OpportunityAn exciting opportunity is available for a Process Specialist - Technicalto join Goodman Fielder on a 9-month fixed-term contract, based at our Clayton site with some travel to Dandenong and Pampas as required.Reporting to the Regional Technical Manager, you'll help identify and implement process, product and manufacturing improvements, working closely with Operations, R&D, Technical, Quality and Continuous Improvement.This is a hands-on role for someone who combines technical capability with strong communication and relationship-building skills — able to translate technical data into practical solutions and bring stakeholders along the journey.What you will doPartner with Operations, R&D, Technical, Quality and CI teams on NPD, technical and process improvement initiatives.Analyse data to identify opportunities to improve waste, efficiency, productivity and process control.Support new product launches, product trials, recipe optimisation and raw material testing.Translate technical data and trial results into clear recommendations and actions.Support the implementation of new technology and process improvements across site.Build strong relationships across the business and communicate technical requirements clearly.What you will bringDegree qualified or working towards a degree in Process Engineering, Food Science or a related discipline.FMCG manufacturing experience is essential, ideally within food, dairy, baking or beverage.Strong technical and analytical capability, with excellent communication and stakeholder skills and the ability to turn insights into practical solutions.Proactive and hands-on, with strong planning, organisation and problem-solving skills.
