Role Overview
Lead development, optimization, and scaling of manufacturing processes for precision mechanical and electro-mechanical assemblies across an external manufacturing network.
Own supplier industrialization, process excellence, equipment standardization, BOE development, yield improvement, and cost optimization.
Key Responsibilities
- Optimize mechanical manufacturing processes for quality, yield, throughput, and scalability.
- Drive readiness for precision mechanical assemblies, electro-mechanical integration, machining, fabrication, assembly, testing, and supplier production.
- Develop BOE standards, equipment templates, tooling requirements, and supplier capability expectations.
- Partner with R&D, Manufacturing Engineering, and contract manufacturers on DFM and DFA decisions.
- Lead process development, equipment selection, qualification support, pilot builds, and production ramp-up.
