As an intern, you will be immersed in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, performing a mix of fieldwork, data analysis, report writing, and database maintenance. You will actively contribute to operational success through the following responsibilities:
Learn and develop key industrial process control skills to assist site subject matter experts
Complete process control projects targeted at reducing operational variability to improve key metrics like recovery
Work closely with operations and the process engineering teams to identify areas for improvement and propose solutions
Support circuit optimization efforts, including field checks, Key Performance Indicator (KPI) tracking, and performance monitoring to sustain operational success.
Conduct field checks and contribute to system validation for new projects.
Participate in site safety initiatives by engaging in the behavior-based safety program, near-miss reporting, and risk reduction projects.
Develop and implement online production monitoring dashboards using PI visualization tool.
Communicate with various levels of personnel throughout the organization, including management, plant operators, engineers (of various disciplines), tradespersons, and contractors.
Participation in department meetings and meetings specific to the project assignment.
